SR. RPA DEVELOPER

Our Services Delivery team is looking for an experienced RPA developer who will be working closely with our development team to design and develop software robots.

Job Description


  • Support delivery and execution of RPA and process automation initiatives.

  • Manage and represent multiple and occasionally complex business activities, spanning cross-functionally in terms of expertise and contributions.

  • Ensure the design and operating effectiveness of the control environment over areas of responsibility.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and perspective in problem resolution and business process management.

  • Evaluate facts and circumstances to derive conclusions and influence decision-making through effective communication.

  • Engage and leverage relationships to achieve end-to-end results.

  • Demonstrate accountability and leadership in the advancement of priorities.


How You’ll Do It


  • Collaborate with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess business processes and identify opportunities for process automation that increases efficiencies and reduces operational risk.

  • Configure the workflow based on the detailed business requirements, utilizing RPA software.

  • Ensure process changes are appropriate, accurate, effective, and documented.

  • Ensure defects are accurately documented, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Assist with deploying the automated process into production as needed.

  • Facilitate meetings with business SMEs and business technology as needed.

  • Conduct deep-dive workshops with process owners to understand and accurately document business process requirements.


Qualifications You’ll Need


The Basics:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, mathematics, engineering, or related field


Bonus Points If You Have


  • 4+ years of experience in RPA development, computer science, operations, initiative/program management, process management, financial systems or related field

DATA ANALYST

Proficient Pals is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Team! You will be responsible for partnering with multiple cross functional teams to define what data to collect, verify data accuracy, turn data into actionable insights, and ensure teams use those insights to make better decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with developers, engineers, and product managers to solve complex analytical problems from beginning to end and deliver impact

  • Construct clean and effective dashboards visualizing player experience insights

  • Write queries that accurately and efficiently return results

  • Develop telemetry messages for new product features with a focus on scalability

  • Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience: 5+ years professional experience with data analytics

Mathematical Skills: Fluency in mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and creating meaningful metrics from data at scale within acceptable performance. Ability to apply concepts such as quantification of data quality, data system performance optimization in practical situations.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills: Proficient in analytical query-writing in SQL; Fluency in a data-analysis programming language such as Python or R. Demonstrated analytical skills working with large sets of complex data; Comfortable with at least one visualization tool such as Looker, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.

BUSINESS ANALYST

At Proficient Pals, we are seeking a motivated Business Analyst with business analysis and project management experience to contribute toward the success of our business technology initiatives. Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and functional requirements. May provide project management and planning activities for some projects. Develops and executes test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project. Serves as a business technology subject matter expert for assigned functional applications to assist business lines with analysis, development, and ongoing support. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation, and implementation in accordance with stakeholder needs. Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work. Participates in developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective as well as operational processes. Acts as a liaison between technical development teams and internal business line stakeholders. Acts as a Business Readiness Lead, develops readiness plans, manages readiness tasks, escalates as needed and reports on status.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five or more years of direct experience with business analysis and project management responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience

  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting, and making verbal and written presentations

  • Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes and supervises their use

  • Business process modeling experience

  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong project management, organization, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision.

  • Experience in the financial services or Wealth Management industry

  • Agile/Scrum Fundamentals – WHY and HOW

  • Understanding of JIRA/Kanban boards

  • Identifying team improvement opportunities and looking externally for best practices to support continuous improvement

  • Leading and coordinating logistics for Agile ceremonies and practices, e.g., backlog maintenance, sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospectives

  • Ensuring all work is tracked in the backlog and accurately balanced across team members

  • Maintaining and updating the Squad's process metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear communications to partners

  • Bachelor’s degree/undergraduate degree/equivalent required

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
